Subsequent to capturing nerve gas being sold to terrorists, Impossible Missions Force (IMF) specialists Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) is persuaded he can demonstrate the presence of the Syndicate, a worldwide criminal consortium that the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) does not trust exists. Chase is caught by the Syndicate, yet gets away from a dungeon drove by Syndicate part Janik “Bone Doctor” Vinter (Jens Hultén) with the assistance of MI6 operators and Syndicate agent Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson).
